The Larsen VIRTUOSO series has been developed to optimise tried and tested qualities with modern, novel technologies, the latter in the form of a groundbreaking multi-filament synthetic core. Old with new. The original A string from Larsen is almost standard for viola players. That's why the Virtuoso series has been maintained and supplemented with newly developed D, G and C strings. While the original Viola A string consists of the well-known steel core with precision-rolled stainless steel flat wire core, the remaining strings used the novel multifilament core that defines the Virtuoso series. They are wound with pure silver. Available as single strings or as sets in Medium (rich tone texture), Medium Extra Long (longer scale) and Soloist (more focus and volume).
